Whereas today a substantial number of Danish goldsmith workshops concentrate on serial production, Krebs & Hyllested carry out specialised, exclusive jeweller’s work based on individual solutions.

In the heart of Copenhagen, one steps directly into the workshop, where no compromise can be found when it comes to the traditions and fine points of craftsmanship, the passionate relationship with precious stones – especially diamonds – and an exquisite flair for combining colours.

The complete work process, from sketches, model, production, placement of gems and polishing to the finished piece of jewellery is carried out in close consultation with customers at the workshop, in order to achieve perfect balance in the pieces of jewellery. Prices are competitive, and can be favourably compared to prices in most shops, due to our excellent contacts with suppliers all over the world.

Family jewellery of great sentimental value is repaired, altered carefully and respectfully, or is transformed into an entirely new piece of jewellery. Wedding rings are made to the order of bridal couples’ wishes, and it goes without saying that the workshop has its own collection, which reflects the high quality of materials and craftsmanship.

Our supreme concern is to advise and guide our customers – in this respect, drawings and sketches can be used by customers as a gift, if there is the least doubt as to the recipient’s wishes. Our greatest ambition is for customers to always feel that they have their own personal jeweller, to come again and to recommend the workshop.
